The MSD Ignition coil pack replaces the standard coil pack on all petrol engine Gen1 MINIs. The MSD Ignition coil pack has a higher capacity over the standard item, supplying the s park plugs with more power to produce a far bigger and fatter spark over standard. This fatter spark improves fuel burn for improved performance, better fuel economy and smoother engine running. Uprating the spark leads and plugs to performance items (eg. Magnecor Spark Leads & Denso Iridium spark plugs) will allow the MSD Ignition Coil Pack to be more effective. Changing all three items will greatly improve ignition performance. Lohen supply the MSD coil pack with a complete replacement bolt set that reduces vibration that coil pack experience and fits the coil pack correctly. It is important to note that these bolts should be tightened to no more than 2 Nm.
