MSD relocated the rev limiter to the top of the housing for easy access to the four rotary dials that set the limit in 100 rpm increments. Inside the Digital 6AL-2, a microprocessor monitors and controls every firing and rev limit while pulling less current. Increased output combined with MSD's proven multiple spark series is a win-win situation! This ignition is compatible on 4-, 6-, as well as 8-cylinder engines with 12-volt, negative ground electrical systems.
