This MSD 7531 Programmable Digital-7 Plus Ignition Control has all of the features of the standard prgrammable box, but with the addition of a three-step timing retard, gear retard, start retard as well as three rev limiters! The Digital-7 Plus provides an upgraded micro-controller that runs at 40MHz which allows timing accuracy within 0.1 degree and +/-1 rpm at up to 10,000 rpm. It allows you to map a complete timing curve for every gear! It also requires a MAP sensor for the boost circuit. This ignition is compatible on 4-, 6-, as well as 8-cylinder engines with negative ground electrical systems. It will accept trigger inputs from breaker points, amplifiers, as well as magnetic pickups. Wiring harness, vibration mounts as well as all components needed for installation are included.
