MSK-110-A16 is a bench-top high through 16 channels automatic assembling machine for CR20XX or other series coin cells with 20mm Dia. The machine can automatically complete the coin cell assembly process by assembling in sequence, injecting electrolytes, and sealing cells. It uses a servo motor to drive the sealing process, ensuring stable and reliable pressure. MSK-110-A16 is compatible with glove boxes or dry rooms.SPECIFICATIONS: Features Easy touchscreen control Automatic assembly: assemble in sequence, injection of electrolyte, and sealing of cells Suitable for use in glove boxes and dry rooms ( Double-sided glove box is recommended) The amount of electrolytes and the number of injections are settable Equipped with a built-in vacuum pump 16 coin cells are assembled in a sequence with high throughput Power Single Phase AC110V, or 220+10%V AC, 50/60 Hz, 200 W Assembling Sequence for Coin Cell For CR2032 coin cells, there are two assembling sequences are available (the positive assembling sequence is regarded as the default mode since Jan 2025): Positive Assembling Sequence: "cathode case, cathode disc, separator, anode disc, spacer, spring, and anode case". Negative Assembling Sequence: "anode case, anode disc, separator, cathode disc, spacer, spring, and cathode case". Other series of coin cells are available upon request, please contact MTI for more information. Different assembling sequences can be customized upon request. Consumable Sizes Please click the pictures below to order all consumables: (1 bag of each following consumables are included for testing, 100 pcs/bag).To get the desirable electrode and separator size, please consider the customized cutting die with MSK-T10. Positive Assembling Sequence: Cathode Disc (15 mm)→ Separator (19 mm)→ Anode Disc (16 mm)→Spacer (15.5 mm)→Spring (15.4 mm, Belleville Washers)→2032 Case If customer prefers the wave spring, we can customize the vacuum manipulator to meet the requirement. Negative Assembling Sequence: Cathode Disc (14 mm)→ Separator (16 mm)→ Anode Disc (15 mm)→Spacer (15.5 mm)→Spring (15.4 mm, Belleville Washers)→2032 Case Assembling Efficiency Approximately 90 seconds per cell It can make 16 cells within 24 minutes Loading Method Pre-load material manually, then assemble coin cell automatically Positioning Accuracy +0.1mm accuracy Assembling Accuracy Better than ±0.5mm Sealing Pressure Sealing pressure adjustable For the CR20 series coin cell, 500-700KG sealing pressure is recommended Injection Pump Equipped with a peristaltic pump with adjustable Injection volume Electrolyte Jar One glass-made electrolyte jar is included Capacity: 100ml Max. Sealing Die CR2032 sealing die is included in the standard package, other sealing dies are available upon request 5000 sealing times Max. Maintenance & Equipment Care Electrolytes are highly corrosive materials; therefore, the die set must be cleaned with ethanol after each experiment to avoid any corrosion damage. Please be aware that MTI is not liable for any losses/damages resulting from improper use, care and maintenance, or abuse of the product. Application After coin cell assembly, the formation process is critical to forming the SEI layer and obtaining a stable OCV. Normally at least 3-5 cycles are required. A flat rubber spring (CR20SPR-Rub) is beneficial to pressure distribution.
