MSK-6000W is a CE Certified ultrasonic metal welder with a digital touch-screen controller. It is designed for welding stacked electrode sheets (Copper & Aluminum) and tabs onto current collectors to prepare Li-ion pouch cells in R&D laboratories. SPECIFICATIONS: Features Welding time (0.01-2 s), delay time, welding layers...adjustable, click Pic. "Program Setup Interface" to see details. Preset welding programs selectable for Al and Cu (Note: Welding power can be readjusted to fit the needs for welding other types of metals such as Au, Fe, Ni, Ag...); Up to four recipes can be stored in the Al or Cu welding programs. Amp meter provides instant monitoring of the welding current Input Voltage AC 220V +/-10%, 50/60Hz, three phases (AC380V is also available upon request) Max. Power Consumption Input power: 1000W Output power from Ultrasonic: 50- 6000W (Max 70 layers aluminum foil and 60 layers for copper foil) Welding Area 12mm(L) x 4mm(W) (Please email for customized welding head) Welding Head One set of the welding head and welding base is included for welding both aluminum & copper current collectors The welding head and the base is pre-installed Sample Holder (Optional) The optional sample holder can be installed to the welder at extra cost. The size of the slot on the sample holder can be customed, please contact MTI for more information. The sample holder equips with a metal detector beneath it for extra protection during operation. Ultrasonic Frequency 20K Hz Pneumatic Control (Not included) Air pressure 80-100 psi is required for the operation from Compressor(Air Compressor is not included. Please click here to order) Attention: If a gas cylinder is used instead of the air compressor(pic2), a two-stage pressure regulator(pic1) must be installed on the gas cylinder to limit the pressure within the required working range for safe operation. Click here to learn the installation of a gas regulator Compliance CE Certified Application Note Nickel and Aluminum Tabs can be welded onto different types of current collecting substrates (Aluminum or Copper) when making battery electrodes. The compact design enables the operation inside the glove box with an Ar atmosphere where Lithium-Sulfur, Lithium Solid-State, or Li-ion half cell will be assembled. Please click the images in below to understand these technologies and how it fits in a glove box.
