2022Eau de ParfumLiz Zorn - Soivohle Liz: Mt. Adams is one of the jewels in Cincinnati’s crown. Situated high above the Ohio river and downtown Cincinnati, Mt. Adams is known for t he arts, unique entertainment venues and homes overlooking the river and cityscape. It is the home of the Cincinnati Art Museum and Krohn Conservatory - the latter known for their amazing floral displays, orchid collection and annual butterfly show. I love green perfumes, that’s why I create so many of them. Pushing a green concept to its often quirky edge is both a pleasure and a challenge. Mt Adams is no different. It lives in its own world. Dave: Situated high above downtown and the Ohio River Valley, and looking more like a 19th-century European mountain village than anything you could ever imagine being in Ohio, there is a green escape from the grit and pollution of urban living for that's been there since the Civil War. Within this tiny hilltop neighborhood you'll find a verdant park, a great museum and a conservatory, the latter known for its amazing floral displays, orchid collection and annual butterfly show. From 1872 to 1948, the city built and operated a funicular, a steep inclined railway that would deliver weary city-folk to leisure in the sky.When considering a design representing such a place of reverie and repose Liz pushed the boundaries of a green concept toward the otherworldly - as if you stepped off the funicular into an almost hallucinatory bright-green landscape bursting with ripe fruit and fresh flowers, bookended by dense woodlands and the cliff's edge.
