The Pro User BB-MT100 5½" Mains Tester is a compact electrical testing tool designed for checking the presence of AC voltage between 100V and 250V against earth. To operate, the tester tip is placed against the appropriate test point while the user touches the metal contact on top of the indicator. The internal indicator illuminates when suitable voltage is detected, subject to correct use and adequate earthing through the user. Measuring approximately 140mm / 5½" long, its compact design makes it convenient for keeping in an electrical toolbox or maintenance kit. The tester is CE approved and intended specifically for voltage indication. It must not be used as a conventional screwdriver.
