EQ-MTC-A5 temperature control unit is designed for precision control of high-temperature furnaces from 1000 - 1500 oC with heating elements of resistant wire or SiC. Just connect the power cord and thermocouple with the unit for PID temperature control. The unit is installed in a heavy-duty steel case with a precision digital temperature controller and voltage & current meters. The controller uses PID automatic control via SCR (Silicon Controlled Rectifier, phase angle fired) power control which provides more accurate temperature control than "solid relay". The Built-in "auto-tune" function allows you to adjust furnace temperature with minimum over-shooting. 30 segments programmable with digital display.
