NOTE: 3 Units Available. First Unit: SOLD 2nd & 3rd Unit Arriving Late July Place your order online to reserve your allocation This special MTGB3000PRB model combines metal and res in with advanced technology and is designed based on the concept of the aurora oval. A new type of top bezel made of stainless steel is recrystallized, deep hardened, and then finished with a rainbow ion-plated (IP) coating. The pattern of the recrystallization and the coloring of the rainbow IP create unique finishes so that no two watches are alike. The back cover of the watch is made of stainless steel with a rainbow IP finish, which is then re-polished to reveal the stainless steel material of the raised parts of the cover. The soft urethane band of this model is a new semi-transparent purple color, highlighted by a brown IP band loop and a purple IP buckle. The base model is the MTGB3000, and its design reproduces the look of the aurora borealis when viewed from space. Features Rainbow IP applied to bezel after recrystallisation and deep-layer hardening The stainless-steel bezel is first treated with recrystallisation and deep-layer hardening processes to form a hard layer on the surface of the material and create a unique, brilliantly gleaming texture. Then, a rainbow IP coating is applied to the surface to express the look of the aurora borealis as seen from outer space. With its impressive beauty of form, the watch demonstrates a dedicated passion for design in its materials, colours, and finishes. *The stainless steel is processed into components and then recrystallised, yielding unique differences in crystalline grain. This makes the pattern, colour tone, and lustre differ subtly from part to part. *The look of the rainbow IP colour will vary from watch to watch. Deep-layer hardening process (stainless steel) This technology creates a hard layer by infusing carbon into the surface of the steel. Unlike coatings, the process delivers enhanced strength by hardening the material itself. Intricately shaped case back: Rainbow IP + repolished finish The intricately shaped case back with raised sides is made to interlock with the top bezel to create a minutely detailed metal exterior with a profound look. Integrated moulding is used to achieve high rigidity using repeated processes of forging, cutting, and polishing. In addition, a special, unique finish is created by applying a rainbow IP coating to the surface of the material and using a repolishing process to remove the coated layer from only the raised portions on the back of the case. This unique design technology pairs the original gleam of the metal with the multi-coloured blend of shifting hues. *Exact rainbow IP colour will vary from watch to watch. Dual Core Guard structure: Delivering rigidity, compact form, and lightness with an intricately shaped case back The Dual Core Guard structure protects the module with a carbon fibre-reinforced resin case and encloses the case with metal components. The side of the case back is raised to serve as the lugs that connect the bands to the case and as the guards for the crown and buttons. While delivering enhanced rigidity, integrated moulding also helps make the watch so compact and lightweight. Translucent purple band: A complement to the metal exterior Translucent resin is used for the band. A new purple hue expresses the mysteriously beautiful colouration of the aurora borealis. Purple IP is applied to the buckle, brown IP to the band loop. Simply press the buttons located on both sides of the lugs to quickly and easily change the band without special tools.
