Belonging to a series of ex-CB&Q cars, these BNSF 3,200 cubic foot capacity cars with Barber Roller Bearing trucks were built by American Car & Foundry in the mid-1960s. Burlington Northern was formed through the mergers of Great Northern and Northern Pacific in 1970, and then merged with ATSF in 1995 to form BNSF.
