While the latch operates easily, it feels as though it could be prone to breaking. The battery compartment, however, secures the batteries well. We appreciate the design choice of having the antenna port on the side rather than the top of the camera. This can help prevent moisture from pooling at the entry point. The unit is very lightweight and will blend in well with a darker color design. This camera holds eight AA batteries, making it smaller than other Muddy brands.
