The Finishing Sponge is made with a tight cell material and is less absorbent than the Blue or Orange Mudsponges. It is excellent for finishing work, final detail, and clean-up of surfaces. Shaped like a potter's rib, it fits comfortably in the palm. Unlike other sponges, the Finishing Mudsponge won’t pull out grog or other materials in the clay body. It will take longer to absorb water than the other Mudsponges the first time used. Natural sponges have been used for years.
