The Bowling Club likes to focus on solving everyday needs of people. We saw how expensive healthy cereal options are, so we decided to make muesli! We always have our two most popular muesli flavours in stock (fruit & honey muesli, and ginger & turmeric muesli). We also have rotating novelty flavours. All sold in 1/2 kilo bags. We focus on trying to keep the muesli healthy with wholesome ingredients and low amounts of added sugars. We supply oats from down the road at Harraways. We add a mixture of different cereals and seeds, and then bind it all together with home-ground coconut butter. We sweeten our mueslis with all-natural date syrup or honey. For our novelty muesli flavours, there may be extra added sugar (between 5-10%). Sorry, we do not make gluten-free muesli. We have focused on simple and tasty ingredients, but not expensive ingredients. That’s how we are able to supply a premium muesli for a budget price. That way, we hope you can have a wholesome and nourishing breakfast as part of your day-to-day. ━━━━━━━━━━ Here are our current muesli favours on offer: 1 / Fruit & Honey Muesli Our classic muesli. Southland oats coated in Kamahi honey and coconut butter. Canterbury linseeds, sunflower seeds, cranberries & dates are mixed in. Cornflakes for crunch & a drizzle of date syrup for sweetness. 2 / Ginger & Turmeric Muesli We used to eat a ginger & turmeric granola when we lived in the states. We loved it. So, we made our own here in Ōtepoti. We take our standard muesli base but use more date syrup instead of honey, and mix in powdered turmeric and ginger. We also add crystallised ginger for extra warmth. 3 / Hazelnut & Dark Chocolate Muesli We love this one because it is made from hazelnuts grown in Oamaru. Allison & Ralph are such a lovely couple in their 80's who started a hazelnut grove as a 'retirement project' We think their hazelnuts are beautiful, so we made a muesli out of them. We mix in a little Ocho Chocolate too. 4 / Cinnamon, Raisin & Walnut Muesli These flavours just feel right together. Our fruit & honey muesli base… with added cinnamon and raisins instead of cranberries. We sprinkle walnuts in at the end to complete a beautiful muesli! ━━━━━━━━━━ IMPORTANT: All our mueslis contain gluten. Some flavours contain nuts. They may all contain traces of hazelnut & walnut due to the equipment being used.
