★★★★★ Trusted by businesses across Scotland and the UK — read our reviews. Multi-Panel Folded Leaflets (DL) The most content we can fit into a leaflet before it becomes a brochure. Four, five or six panels folded concertina-style, giving eight, ten or twelve pages — all closing to the same slim DL size that fits a pocket, an envelope and a standard rack. Printed and folded in-house at our Paisley studio, full colour both sides, from 100 to 500 copies, on 150gsm or 250gsm silk. Who is this for? Choose this when you have genuinely detailed content and a tri-fold cannot hold it. Step-by-step guides, itineraries, walking and cycling routes, multi-service price lists, full product ranges, conference programmes. The concertina fold reveals panels in sequence as the reader opens it, which suits content that has an order to it — stages, days, chapters. Worth designing each panel to stand on its own as well as work in sequence, because people open concertinas unpredictably. How does this compare to our other folded leaflets? If six panels is more than you need, the A4 Tri-Fold folds to the same 99 x 210mm size at a fraction of the cost. For the same layered idea in a wider A5 footprint, see Multi-Panel Folded Leaflets (A5). If you need more than twelve pages, or want a bound spine, our Brochures range starts at 8 pages saddle stitched. --- Product Specifications • 4 Panels DL — Flat: 396mm (w) x 210mm (h) / Folded: 99mm (w) x 210mm (h). 8 pages — 4 panels outside, 4 inside.• 5 Panels DL — Flat: 495mm (w) x 210mm (h) / Folded: 99mm (w) x 210mm (h). 10 pages — 5 panels outside, 5 inside.• 6 Panels DL — Flat: 594mm (w) x 210mm (h) / Folded: 99mm (w) x 210mm (h). 12 pages — 6 panels outside, 6 inside.• Quantities: 100 to 500 copies• Paper options: 150gsm Silk (standard weight) / 250gsm Silk (light card)• Printed full colour, both sides• Concertina fold, machine folded and creased• All stocks FSC certified• Printed and finished in-house at our Paisley studio --- Need a different paper or a larger quantity? The combinations above are the ones we run most often — they are not the limit of what we can do. Uncoated and 100% recycled stocks, heavier weights, bespoke panel counts and quantities well above 500 are all available on request. Larger runs are always worth pricing. Concertina work has a significant setup component, so the unit cost falls sharply as the quantity rises. Tell us the real number you need. Also called a zig-zag or accordion fold — the sheet is folded back and forth in alternating directions so the panels extend outward like a concertina rather than rolling inside one another. It means every panel is the same width, the leaflet opens progressively, and it can be pulled out flat to show all panels at once. Which paper should I choose? Both options are silk — a smooth, lightly coated surface with a low sheen that keeps colour clean and sharp without the glare of gloss. 150gsm is our standard leaflet weight and the right choice for most concertina work. It folds crisply, which matters when there are five or six creases in one sheet, and keeps the finished piece light enough to post economically. 250gsm is a light card with a noticeably more premium feel. It is scored before folding to keep the creases clean, and produces a piece with real substance — worth it when the leaflet will be handled repeatedly. Both stocks are FSC certified. Our paper stock guide covers our full leaflet range, and we're happy to post samples. What is the lead time for this product? Typical timescale for this product is 3-5 working days from artwork approval. If you have a specific deadline, get in touch — we print in-house, so we can often move a job up the schedule, and we'll tell you honestly if we can't hit your date. What are my delivery options? We send our parcels via courier on a next day service within the UK. If you are in a remote area of the UK, please allow 48hr deliveries. If you are local to us, you can simply click and collect from our studio. Artwork Requirements Please supply your artwork as a print-ready PDF at flat size — 396mm, 495mm or 594mm (w) x 210mm (h) depending on panel count, not folded size, as a two page file: page 1 the outside, page 2 the inside. Add 3mm bleed around all edges plus trim marks, and keep critical content at least 5mm inside the trim and clear of the fold lines. Images at 300dpi, colours in CMYK. Please don't impose the file yourself — we handle that. Full detail is in our artwork and design guide, and the template below is set up correctly for you. Do you offer a design service? Yes we do. Our in-house graphic designers are available to create artwork to your specific requirements. Simply contact us and we'll come straight back with a quotation. Our team will supply drafts for approval, where you can suggest any tweaks you would like, ahead of print. Design charge: our artwork service is charged at £35 per hour, with the final cost based on the time the project needs. We'll keep you up to date at every stage.
