Drill out the damaged bolt/stud using the correctly sized drill bit indicated. For best results drill through the bolt. 2. Gently tap the extractor into the drilled hole. 3. Using a hex spanner or socket unscrew as you would any bolt or nut. 4. The left hand spiral of the extractor will tighten on the wall of your broken bolt /stud and wind out. 5. To remove your extractor be sure to hold the bolt/stud securely in a vice and tighten, right hand turn to remove.
