Performance Fast finishing action Boride PC stones are a practical choice when you need a finishing-focused stone that still removes material quickly. They are suitable for Hapstone and similar guided sharpening systems and are mounted on high-quality aluminum blanks. Lubricants • Water • Soapy water • Boride Bori-Lube • Water solution of dipropylene glycol • WD-40, refined olive oil, or oleic acid for experienced users Preparation When using water, soak the stone for 1–2 minutes. When using oil, apply 1–2 drops and spread evenly over the surface. If the stone absorbs the oil, use a larger amount. Natural production marks Possible minor defects Boride stones may have saw strokes on the working surface, lacquer residues, or small chips at the corners and along the edges no larger than 1 mm. These marks are usually removed during stone preparation. Additional lapping can be done with loose silicon carbide powder or a diamond lapping plate.
