Plant this perennial mix once and it can stick around for 3-5 years or more without being replanted producing high quality food for your herd Tired of having to re-plant your plots every fall? With a little maintenance throughout the year, this mix of long lasting clovers and chicory can stick around for 3-5yrs or even longer under good conditions. A little mowing (1-3 times a year) to keep weeds down during the summer is really all you need to keep this plot healthy. This plot lasts so long it could feed a fawn this Spring and still be around to see you harvest that same deer as a 200" 5yr old buck. Think about that. Plant once, hunt over it for years to come. Ingredients: Chicory 3 Clovers How we formulated this mix: The clovers in this mix were chosen for longevity with many lasting 3-5 years without replanting. Chicory is consistently long-lived and helps round out this recipe designed to stick around a long time. WHERE TO PLANT: Areas with full sun to partial shade. Best for fairly well drained areas. Excellent graze tolerance for small plots. pH: 5.5-7.0 MINIMUM SOIL FERTILITY NEEDED: Moderate WHEN TO PLANT: NORTH: March-June or Aug-Sep CENTRAL: Mar-May or Aug-Oct SOUTH: Sep-Early Nov Can be frost seeded in winter 3-5 weeks before the last frost.
