Every core is 1mm², numbered in black, with a single yellow/green earth core included in the core count. Built for flexible or fixed installation in dry, moist and wet indoor environments. The PVC compound resists oil and general chemical exposure, and the cable is rated 300/500V, suitable for standard control and automation circuits. Not rated for outdoor or underground use. Choosing your core count The core count includes the earth core, following standard European cable notation, a 5-core cable has 4 numbered black cores plus 1 yellow/green earth, not 5 black cores plus a separate earth. Pick the count based on how many circuits or signals the job needs, and check your panel or wiring diagram for the exact number required.
