Her carefully constructed images using natural light and movement illustrate influences of her love for early photographic techniques. The physical portrayal of the shadows and reflections within the compositions add to the metaphorical expression within the images. Using photographic techniques such as multiple exposures, movement and layering, along with traces of smudging and staining similar to those used in traditional painting methods result in her photographs having a painterly and ephemeral, yet timeless quality. ----
