MuMETAL Magnetic Shielding Foil is fully annealed and used primarily in low intensity fields where the highest attenuation, highest initial permeability µ (Mu) and highest shielding efficiency are desired. All gauges are available with optional adhesive backing on 1-side (pressure sensitive tape with release coated liner). Operating temperature range of adhesive is 32ºF to 140ºF (0ºC to 60ºC). Foils can typically be slit to a minimum width of 1/4-inch (6.35mm), with or without adhesive backing. Foil width tolerance is ±0.010 in (0.25 mm) or ±0.015 in (0.38 mm) with adhesive backing. MuMETAL(c) Foil is Perfection Annealed for maximum attenuation and acceptable surface appearance. It does not require re-annealing unless severe forming or heliarc welding is performed.This MuMETAL Magnetic Shielding Foil (EDMO# MUT004-4) is 4 inches wide with a 0.004-inch thickness and has a standard, uncoated finish.
