Based on the hugely successful graphic novels of the same name, this feature length animated film will be hitting cinema screens in May 2018. In Dark Meat City, a ruthless megalopolis in sunny California, Angelino is just one of thousands of deadbeat inhabitants. After a scooter accident while delivering pizzas, he starts experiencing violent headaches doubled with strange hallucinations and becomes the target of a terrifying manhunt. He is finally captured and learns the truth about his origins: he is half human and half Macho, a creature from the dark matter of the universe. Will he join the ranks of those who secretly exploit the world’s resources…or choose another path? The Mutafukaz universe was officially born online in 2000, created by writer/director RUN and its success led to an award-winning seven minute film, Mutafukaz: Operation Blackhead, being released in 2002. Several volumes of the comic books followed, selling in excess of 135,000 copies to date. This feature length movie is directed by Guillaume "Run" Renard and Shōjirō Nishimi and will be released in May 2018 The soundtrack is by The Toxic Avenger and composer Guillaume Houzé with performances by The Toxic Avenger, Redouanne Harjane and Jon de Jon.
