I am slip and memory, mould and gesture, fragments gat hered that once belonged elsewhere. Pieces severed and joined again. Ideas shifted in thought. I have endured fire, emerging resolved. My surface conceals what I have been. I am amalgam made whole, collecting memory. Each use rewrites me, filled, emptied, handled. I hold what you give me and what you take away. I am not fixed.
