The show brings together an evocative collection of drawings and lithographs by artists Beatrice Forshall and Rosie MacCurrach. Through their distinct practices, both artists illuminate the majesty of rivers and chalk streams - habitats that are vital, threatened, and increasingly central to environmental conversations. Their work captures the beauty and fragility of our waterways, the intricate life they support, and our shared responsibility for preserving these extraordinary environments. Beatrice Forshall, known for her drypoint engravings and sensitive rendering of endangered species, offers a visual language rooted in storytelling and conservation. She was artist-in-residence at the Cambridge Conservation Initiative and recently published The Book of Vanishing Species with Bloomsbury, a love letter to life on Earth and an urgent summons to protect what is precious in this world. Rosie MacCurrach contributes a contemplative series of works on paper, each piece reverently reflecting the rhythms, textures, and movements of water and land. Rosie works as a Print Designer, Textile Artist and Dyer in fashion, film, interiors and theatre. She is currently working on the Beatles film as Senior Textile Artist for costume. She was Director and Head of Studio at Fermoie until 2021 and worked at the National Theatre for eight years. Together, their artworks invite viewers to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the natural world - celebrating its beauty while acknowledging its fragility. FREE ENTRY
