Myoporum parvifolium Fine Leaf is a dense, prostrate Australian native ground cover valued for its soft, fine green foliage and spreading habit. It forms a lush carpet that hugs the ground, making it ideal for covering large areas with minimal maintenance. From late spring through to early autumn, the plant is dotted with masses of tiny, starry flowers that sit just above the foliage, adding a delicate seasonal display while still maintaining its tidy appearance. Perfect for spilling over embankments, cascading across retaining walls, or filling difficult-to-access areas, Fine Leaf is excellent for suppressing weeds and stabilising soil. Its hardy nature makes it well suited to dry gardens, coastal sites and low-maintenance landscapes. Prune lightly once a year to encourage fresh, dense growth and to maintain shape.
