Myrcene is naturally emitted by plants and is essentially a nature smell. Think walking in a fresh leafy late springtime forest. It is not often used directly in perfumery, however , the perfumer here at The Fragrance Foundry uses it for two accords in particular: Firstly, the petrichor (rain) accord (which is also available for purchase on The Fragrance Foundry), and secondly, as a secret ingredient for adding realism to mango accords (mangoes naturally contain myrcene).
