Myrmecia simillima is one of Australia’s larger bull ant, featuring brachypterous queens (meaning the alates cannot fly with their wings) and large colony sizes they are a really c ool species. They come in many different colour morphs, with this one being the eastern dark variation, featuring a mostly dark body, and brown-yellow mandibles.
