Backhousia myrtifolia, commonly known as Cinnamon Myrtle, is a graceful Australian native shrub or small tree prized for its aromatic foliage and creamy-white flowers. The soft, lance-shaped leaves release a warm, cinnamon-like scent when crushed, making it a popular choice for sensory and native gardens. They can be used to replace cinnamon spice in a variety of dishes and recipes, or steeped to create a pleasant herbal tea.
