Wings up against blue ice. A white dragon sits on a snow-covered rock at the centre, one wing raised and half open, tail curled around the base. Its scales are pale grey-blue and t he ridged spine is picked out in white, while behind it an ice cave rises in panels of blue and teal. The outer ring breaks into tiles, darker at the sides than at the top, and gold numerals sit on a slim border with small studs spaced between them. Gold hands are the only warm note against all that blue. It reads cold in the best way, which makes it a natural through Yule and the weeks either side, and it holds up in a blue-toned room all year. Good for a dragon collector, or for a teenager whose shelf is already full of them.
