The handle of the Luxury Chaperon knife is made in the Opinel factory with a marquetry process invented by Bruno Chaperon, cabinetmaker. Four different species of wood are assemble d together (ebony, rosewood, violet wood, bocote, cocobolo, rosewood, zebrali, boxwood, amaranth ... ).
