Noreaga's debut album, The War Report, released in 1997 with collaborator Capone, was an exhilarating success. Yet, with Capone incarcerated and unable to join him on the follow-up , Noreaga released his 1998 solo effort, N.O.R.E. The absence of Capone is felt, but the guest appearances from Nas, Mase, Kool G Rap, Cam'ron, Big Punisher, and Busta Rhymes add exciting, hard-hitting moments.
