How to Build Your Set Step 1 — Choose your door type. Single internal door? Continue to Step 2. Double/French doors? See Step 3. Step 2 — Choose your function. Passage — add a tube latch (non-locking doors). Privacy — add a tube latch plus privacy bolt (bedrooms, bathrooms). Entrance — add a mortice lock and cylinder (Key/Thumb or Key/Key). Step 3 — Double doors. Order two sets — or an active set plus a dummy set on the fixed (inactive) leaf — and add flush bolts to the non-active leaf, commonly 300 mm at the top and 150 mm at the bottom. Hinge guide.
