EACH ART PRINT IS INDIVIDUALLY SIGNED BY THE ARTIST. Näcken is a mysterious, dangerous water spirit living in rivers and rapids, brooks and lakes. He often tries to drown careless bathers, or lure people into his underwater kingdom and hold them prisoner there. Flowering water lilies are a sure sign that the Neck is nearby, in which case it would be wise to bind him by sticking a knife into the shore before going for a swim.The illustration is from the book Vaesen.
