Nautica J-Class Travel Seascooter The Nautica J-Class Seascooter is a foldable, dual-thruster underwater scooter developed for personal recreational swimming, snorkeling and qualified scuba-diving use. As Nautica’s Travel Series model, it combines a compact folding chassis with three selectable speed settings and propulsion speeds of up to 5 mph (8 km/h). Its equipment depth rating is 130 ft (40 m), although that rating is an operating limit rather than a recommended diving depth. A removable 22.2V 6Ah lithium-ion battery provides up to 40 minutes of normal-use runtime or up to 30 minutes of continuous operation. Charging takes approximately three to four hours. The LCD displays battery level and the selected gear while also providing operating and warning indicators. The J-Class measures 16.9 × 12.1 × 6.7 inches when folded and weighs 15 lb (6.8 kg) with its battery, making storage and transportation more manageable than with a fixed-frame unit. A camera mount and multipurpose mount are supplied, but the camera, camera housing and mounting hardware are not included. Choose this model when compact storage, higher speed and a replaceable battery matter more than maximum per-charge runtime.
