The Nautica Marine 500 Seascooter is a compact dual-thruster underwater scooter created for personal recreational swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving by qualified divers. Its three selectable speed settings provide controlled underwater propulsion up to 3.5 mph (5.6 km/h), while the product carries a maximum depth rating of 100 ft (30 m). A replaceable 25.2V, 5Ah lithium-ion battery provides up to 45 minutes of operation under normal use or up to 35 minutes of continuous operation. Charging takes approximately three hours. The complete unit weighs 8.8 lb (4 kg) with the battery installed, making it substantially easier to carry than many larger lead-acid Marine Series models. Dual triggers operate the thrusters, while the master switch, protective propeller grilles and battery-level indicator support controlled operation.
