Incentive Paint and print circles on newspaper to creative a name plaque. -Line-Shape-Space-Colour-Texture Supplies Art paper Newspaper Photo of child Black Crayon Scissors Glue Wa ter paints and paintbrush Pencil Black paint Circle shape to print with and trace Lesson 1 Cover art paper with cutouts of printed areas from the newspaper. Paste these down so that no white spaces are showing. All to dry. 2 Count the number of letters in your name and trace this many circles plus one more all over the newspaper. 3 Use water paints to colour in the circles. 4 Use round shape to trace around photo. Cut out photo. 5 Use same round shape to print outlines of circles over the water painted areas. Print this in black paint. Allow to dry. 6 Paste photo of child in first circle then using black crayon write each letter of your name, one in each circle. 7 Display on a coloured background. These may be put up around the room. They also make a great door display or front entry display to your room for visitors to see. Show more
