This product is not a typical rust remover, but rather a rust eraser. Traditional rust removers are effective at removing rust, but they often leave fine scratches on the surface. The rust eraser is designed to be softer and more flexible than conventional rust removal tools, allowing it to remove rust while being much gentler on the surface. As the name suggests, it is used just like a pencil eraser. Simply rub it over the rusted area to erase rust easily and comfortably. With an abrasive power equivalent to #400 grit, it works very well for removing rust from knife surfaces and other metal tools. Please note that deep or heavily developed rust may still require a traditional rust remover and more vigorous scrubbing.
