Naniwa Abrasive was founded in 1952 and produces some of the finest abrasion materials in Japan. Due to their hardness and quick prep time, we think that these are some of the best synthetic whetstones on the market and we use them almost exclusively in our in house sharpening service. Tried and true, and now back in action. Naniwa has decided to re-release their famous Super Stone line. We've used these for years and are please to have them back in North America. Short soaking time, hard cutting - treat with care. Please note that our long beloved super stones are now called "advance". Same great stone at the same great price point.
