A full and complete Nano Sport remote head system. With Nano Sport, Jibstick Desk, and accessories needed to start operating right out of the box. This is our basic Sports package, currently in use with MLB, NHL, NFL and NBA. This system is catered to the general needs of sports shooting, but can be adapted from the standard setup to fit your exact needs. This system features our new offset two axis pan/tilt remote head, the Nano Sport. The successor to the Talon head, this little head packs a punch. Weighing in at only eight pounds, the Nano Sport has a fifteen-pound capacity. The Nano Sport basic system comes standard with a leveling head on a 1 ½ in. Hollaender Speed-Rail mount when purchased as a system. Featured in this system are our new Fiber Control Units. The units work in pairs, with one unit on the console side and one on the head side. Fiber connection is a single fiber with ST connectors, covering distances up to 12.4 miles (20km). The head and console connection is through a DB15HD DSUB connector. Power is supplied to each unit via a wall-wart power supply. In addition, a 7-pin Control LEMO is also available. With the optional Control LEMO, the Fiber Unit on the console side can power a console, and the Fiber Unit on the head side can be powered by the head without the need for an external power supply. All River consoles and desks will still need an external power supply. Also included with this system is the Jibstick Desk, our most basic desk controller. It allows for plug and play operation, with easy to adjust smoothing and speeds, position or velocity mode control, and no play-repeat capabilities. Zoom and Focus control are standard via an encoded wheel, and hall-effect rocker. The Jibstick has a Control port for head control, a Lens Control port for the Lens Control Grip, and a Serial Set Streaming port for computer integration. The Jibstick desk has a Control port for head control, and a power port. A Lens Control port for the Lens Control Grip, and a Serial Set Streaming port for computer integration are available on request. Lens Control Cables for Canon and Fujinon analog and digital lenses are available separately. This "mini Talon" is eager to be put to work!
