Our Nanook Bangle is based on the first feature documentary... Robert Flaherty’s Nanook of the North (1922) was the first feature documentary to achieve recognition and success. After two years of shooting hours of Inuit life, in 1916 Flaherty dropped a cigarette onto the highly flammable camera negative and lost 30,000 feet of film. Undeterred, he spent four years raising the funds before returning to the Canadian Arctic to re-shoot! 925 sterling silver, harvested from film processing at Cinelab UK Head to Cinelab's portfolio to see what films they've processed this year! Our Nanook Bangle along with all our jewellery is hallmarked at Goldsmith's Company Assay Office, guaranteeing the precious metal is of the finest standard.
