Adapted from Erica's original 1970's crewel design, this needlepoint canvas could be stitched in long and short stitches to make it move along faster while creating a beautiful crewelpoint work of art. Use long satin stitches for the sea and angle them in different directions for each wave as in her original, adding french knots for the sea spay will make it 3 dimensional. Or just keep it all in needlepoint stitches but mix in some fun fibers like Rainbow Gallery silk lame braid for the rigging - either way it will look majestic in your home!
