Java Fern “Narrow Leaf” (Microsorum pteropus ‘Narrow’) is a rare and elegant variety of Java Fern known for its extremely thin, flowing leaves. Previously called Needle Leaf Fern, this form is now more commonly known as Narrow Leaf Java Fern. It is the same striking fern famously used in Takashi Amano’s large showcase aquariums, prized for the way it moves gently in the current. This variety is still uncommon in Canada, especially in the Toronto area, making it a unique addition to any aquascape.
