Design № 57847 The third official NASA insignia is a modern, simplistic emblem. The emblem is rectangular with approximate dimensions of 1.5 inches high by 4 inches long. It featur es a white fully embroidered background with flame red continuous script lettering which simply reads "NASA". Unofficially, it has become known as the NASA "Worm".
