The NATO survival button compass is an ISSUE NATO BUTTON COMPASS by Francis Barker with all brass construction and luminous north and south points. Niva tipped brass pivot. NSN 660 5-99-265-1167. Weighing only 3g and measuring 5mm x 15mm diameter, it is small enough to conceal easily. Can be sewn into clothing or hidden around the body. Carry it with you at all times as you never know when you will need it. (Not suitable for swimming/diving/water sports. Splash-proof only.)
