Our 24 color palette of exquisite earth, mineral and plant based pigments from the Mediterranean basin to the forests of Sumatra! The Tintoretto Linea Feltracco mop brush size 0 is included in every 24 color palette! Some highlights of the collection are the Copper blue (PW4, PG7, PB15:3, PY3), a delicate green blue hue, the new Green gold (PY150, PY184, PG36), inspired by historical sap green made from ripe buckthorn berries, a vibrant Italian raw sienna from Badia (PY43), and our genuine Lapis lazuli, extra fine. We have a new exclusive source for our premium extra fine Lapis lazuli. This exquisite Fra Angelico blue pigment is made by grinding semi-precious lapis lazuli stones into a powder and exacting the purest pigment in small, artisan batches. Jarosite (PY43) from Cyprus, a limonite famous for its unique hue, and the new Rose Madder (NR9), genuine is a transparent red pigment made from the root of the Rubia tinctorum plant. Madder was used in ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome for dyeing textiles and, to some extent, making pigments. Other favorites include Arancio di Castiglia (PR102, PY43) a Bauxite orange-red ochre from sun-burnt Castille in the heart of Spain. By special request, we have included Potter's Pink (PR233), a granulating, naturalistic pink tone invented by an unknown Staffordshire potter in about 1780. Many colors in the Naturale Collection are granulating and made from exclusive natural pigments. For bold results, we recommend pre-wetting them with a drop of water or mist with a small spray bottle. Handmade watercolor set of twenty-four individually wrapped half pans in a metal tin with two mixing surfaces, a DIY color chart printed on Arches watercolor paper, and a cruelty free Tintoretto traditional mop brush size 0. The Naturale 24 handmade watercolor set is packaged with original marbled paper by a Florentine artisan workshop and comes inside an elegant gift box.
