A blend of 4 year old rum barrels, aged in virgin American charred oak barrels and bottled at 57% alcohol, some would refer to this as “navy strength”. The colour of this rum is natural, coming from the select oak barrels we use. No caramel colouring, flavouring or sugars are added to this rum. Perfect for rum enthusiasts or whisky drinkers looking for something new to try. Perfect for high proof exotic cocktails and on-the-rocks sippers alike. Canadian rum derived from Crosby's fancy molasses. The product concept and label were designed by Moncton artist Andrew Macpherson, also known as Ghandy. Tasting notes: On the nose; oaky, fruit, vanilla wafer, cocoa, mild smoky. Heat from high proof. On the pallet, notes of vanilla, toffee, apple, licorice, icing sugar, clove and coconut. Mouth feel is not overly dry and not offensive. Finish is long leaving a spicy warm sensation in the throat with butter, coconut and a mild fruit cake flavour on your breath .
