Aquatic Herbicides Navigate This aquatic herbicide is a very selective granular product great for milfol control, and is also an effective Water Lily and Watershield killer. This selective herbicide is formulated to control water milfoil, water stargrass, bladderwort, white and yellow water lily, water shield, water chestnut, and coontail. Active ingredient is 27.6% butoxyethyl ester of 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid. Application rate varies by target plant, density, and water depth. ShoreKlear-Plus This non-selective aquatic herbicide used to control grass, weeds and other vegetation. Shore-Klear Plus is diluted and applied to the foliage of actively growing weeds as a spot or broadcast application. It is absorbed by the leaves and moves throughout the stem and roots to control the entire plant. Active ingredient is Glyphosate, N-(phosphonomethyl) glycine, in the form of its isopropylamine salt. The application rates vary by density, environmental conditions, and growth stage. Aquathol K This liquid aquatic herbicide controls a wide variety of submerged weed types and is effective even in silty waters. Typically used to treat Milfoil, Hydrilla, Curly Leaf Pondweed, Aquathol K is EPA Approved and has no swimming or fishing restrictions. The active ingredient is 40.3% dipotassium salt of endothall. Sonar RTU Aquatic Herbicide A fluridone-based formulation for the management of aquatic vegetation in freshwater ponds, lakes and reservoirs. Sonar RTU Aquatic Herbicide is a highly effective aquatic herbicide used to selectively manage undesirable aquatic vegetation in freshwater ponds, lakes, reservoirs, rivers and canals and is particularly effective in managing duckweed. Sonar has no restrictions on water use after application. The active ingredient is 3.79 Fluridone. Reward is an important tool for aquatic weed control, providing advantages and opportunities for aquatic managers to achieve weed control goals using an environmentally sustainable approach. Active Ingredient: Diquat dibromide 37.3% Aquatic Algaecide Cutrine Plus Cutrine Plus effectively controls a broad range of algae, specifically surface filamentous and planktonic algae including: Cyanobacteria, Green algae, Golden algae and diatoms, Filamentous Green Algae and Chara and Nitella as well as the rooted aquatic plant, Hydrilla verticillata.The active ingredients are 9.0% elemental copper. (27.9% Copper Ethanolamine Complex, Mixed). Do not use Cutrine Plus in waters containing Koi or hybrid goldfish. Not intended for use in small volume, garden pond systems. Cutrine Plus Granular This algaecide is great for spot-treating bottom-growing algae. Clean, dry, granular algaecide sinks rapidly and works evenly over the affected area. Easily spread from the bag (wear gloves) or with a crank-type rotary spreader. EPA-approved for use in lakes and potable water reservoirs, farm fish ponds and fish hatcheries. Waters treated with this product may be used for swimming, fishing, further potable water treatment, livestock watering or irrigating turf, ornamental plants or crops immediately after treatment. Do not use in waters containing Koi or hybrid goldfish. Not intended for use in small volume, garden pond systems. Aquashade can be used in natural and man-made contained lakes and ponds (ornamental, recreational, fish bearing & fish farming bodies) with little or no out flow of water.
