The e-bike should be stored or parked under cover and in a dry place when not ridden (out of the rain or adverse weather conditions). The e-bike, in general, is fine to ride in light rain as all items are watertight. However, the e-bike is not suitable to be used in heavy rainfall, ponding water or very wet muddy areas. The e-bike is not suitable to be washed with water. A damp cloth is recommended for cleaning the e-bike. The battery is removable and should be charged and stored in-doors and in a dry place with a moderate temperature. The battery may be charged either on or off the bike. The battery should be charged once every 1-2 months if not using the bike for an extended period (e.g. during winter months) to keep the internal cells active and to prolong the life of the battery.
