This great trick was featured on network TV by Doug Henning. It is a truly great trick because it has suspense, excitement, mystery, visual impact and all the things that go to mak e a trick very special. Effect: Right before the eyes of the audience you blow up a big transparent rubber balloon. Then slowly and deliberately, you push a long needle in one side of the balloon and out the other! This really happens - no fake props or moves. Then, as seen in the sketch, the eye of the needle, threaded with a ribbon, is pulled on thru the balloon. Needle is pulled out and balloon left strung on the ribbon! Surprise! But look what a rousing climax still remains--the balloon is tossed in the air, and you stab at it with the point of the needle.
