The brass and aluminum Nelson Turbine Clock was designed in 1957 by Lucia DeRespinis for George Nelson Associates. Lucia was the only female industrial designer in a firm that empl oyed many of the top talent of the time. In all, George Nelson Associates designed more than 150 clocks between 1948 and 1960. Produced by Vitra, this is the authorized re-edition, produced using the original design specifications from the Nelson archive and with the permission of the George Nelson estate.
