Our nematode applicator is a hose end garden feeder. Simply attach your hose to the end of the applicator and follow the instructions provided. This has been tried and tested by the UK's biggest nematode manufacturer and is recommend to use when applying to larger areas to speed up the process. How to use: 1. Set the feeder on "feed and water" and the spray on "flat". 2. Add entire contents of the pack to the bowl of the applicator (Except for the 100sq.m Nemaslug slug nematodes, use half the packet twice as advised on the inner of the product packaging). 3. Fill the bowl with water and stir to mix the nematode thoroughly and then attach the garden hose to end of the applicator. 4. Keep the feeder in an upright position and apply evenly to the whole of the area to be treated. 5. Follow as S shape pattern as illustrated in the product image. This should apply a half dose by the forward and return point. You can roughly estimate the concentration of the nematode suspension in the bowl, by the colouration. It will become clearer as the application progresses. Retrace path to start point to finish application. 6. The time it takes for the bowl to dispense most the nematode solution is approximately 8 minutes under standard water pressure conditions. 7. Treat the same area again for 8 minutes (or 16 minutes for a lawn application) to make sure the nematodes are adequately watered in. Applications to lawns require additional watering to ensure the nematodes are washed through the grass.
